Obama Investigates Former Friend.

July 12th, 2009

Obama is ordering a National Security team to investigate the slayings of thousands of taliban fighters. The murders came at the hands of an exceptionally accomplished Afghan Warlord, General Abdul Rashid Dostum. General Dostum has been allied with the U.S. for some time. I recall that when Obama was in congress General Dostum was the first person in line to meet with the Illinois Senator, before he even met with President Karzai.

We have been so chummed up with this warlord for so long, and now Obama acts like he didn’t know anything about it. Who cares if he killed a few thousand Taliban. We kill them every day. And they kill our guys every day. What good is his investigation going to do? Is he going to file charges against an Afghan warlord (actually we did take one into custody after we invited him to NY for a visit). But come on, this is bullshit. It’s just media crap that gives good headlines that look like he’s somehow investigating some Bush crime. So he can feed the far left a scrap.

In the real world people die. Sometimes a lot of them. And this particular warlord is noted for ruling with an iron fist, and fighting the Taliban since the Ruskies left.

Netflix and North Korea.

You know what’s funny. I bet that Sunday night mark’s peak traffic for netflix almost everyweek. But all of the sudden today their site goes down. Very strange indeed. I wonder if it’s due to the server burden from a heavy Sunday, or maybe those dang North Korean hackers.

You never know.

But I’ll tell you what I do know. If it is those dang North Korean Hackers I bet people will pay attention now. No one really minds much when our CIA, NSA, pentagon, and White House sites are being attacked. I think that cyber attacks can now basically be considered an act of war. Perhaps we should go after those bastards. No. Not Perhpas. We should. It’s an act of war in my mind. I say send a cruise missle to the heart of their electrical grid. That’d show em how much we like our Netflix.

This is Why Iam Hot

Swine Flu T-shirt

It seems as though the H1N1 isn’t quite as bad as we thought it was going to be. Mexico clearly just did not have sufficient capabilities for dealing with it. In the US, however, it seems that we are functioning just fine with the Pig Influenza. Thus the Swine Flu TShirts Abound.

Some would even say that the Swine 09 pandemic is quite a bit overblown. The media sure ratcheted up quickly on this one. And while it does go to show that we can dessiminate information very quickly, it also show medias ability to alarm en masse. I will say that if the growth of the flu outpaces our medical inventories it could potentially be a very serious problem. However, for the time being the infection rates do not seem to be growing by significant exponential factors. For now, at least, I know that I feel safe. I also have full confidence in our medical system to deal with the issue.

Don’t Steal

May 2nd, 2009

dont-steal government hates competition

There was a time where I had this bumper sticker on the back of my car. That was during the Bush administration, and I felt the same way. It doesn’t matter to me who is in office, I feel the same way about this. I suppose if some game changer like Ron Paul were in office, it might be different, but I haven’t seen any reason not to feel this way regardless of who the president is.

The sticker, Don’t steal, the government hates competition, rings true for many as we begin to work more and more for the government. Unfortunately, I fear that we are creating a society which is so dependent upon government that we will really have no choice but to continue the socialist model. It is sad, but we have seen periods of time like this before. Under Roosevelt I think many Americans saw similar changes taking place. We managed to come out OK, but there has been a feeling of “creeping socialism” for almost 100 years now.

Teleprompter in Chief

Oh, you gotta love the Teleprompter in Chief T-Shirts. I also saw a bumper sticker that said impeach the teleprompter; which I thought was pretty good.

Why do we so easily accept President’s (on either side of the aisle) that speak only from scripts written by some faceless grad student?

Economic Stress

March 30th, 2009

The Government has created a site dedicated to dealing with the mental stresses of hard economic times.

Maybe they should make one for dealing with the strains of watching the circus act of the Obama administration. I think I need prozac everytime I hear Tim Geithner speak.

FRAUD

March 26th, 2009

Geithner is radical. He is calling for governmental power to seize private and public corporations. This is radical, and it treads on extremely dangerous ground.

The EU is warning us. The UK demands a stop to spending. Investors are warning us. Economists are warning us. PUTIN IS WARNING US. I mean what does anyone expect. We all knew that Obama was a socialist. They are running us into unbelievable debt. They will completely devalue our currency. It is absolutely unbelievable. It pains me. I have no tears left. It is just a shame.

If I ever were to meet Tim Geithner I can’t say that I would be very nice to him. He is nothing but an east coast pretty boy in a suit. A wimp. A wimp with indirect answers, and non answers. Hiding out in governmental service. The fact that this tax evader is allowed to continue his career blows my mind. How much more blatant can it get. Liberals would have hounded over something like this in the Bush administration. There would have been documentaries painting him as an evil good ole boy above reproach. It is blatant, and he is apparently accountable to no one. Fradulent. Fraud. Tax evading FRAUD.
