Generally Useless Words

Joe the Plumber”I am glad to know that a majority of the country is tired on the keywords that seem to keep popping up on the radar. I am exceptionally tired of the Green phenomena which has allowed Al Gore et al to capitalize on a movement which simply sickens me. For someone to have the ostenacious idea that they can save the planet by changing simple daily activities is outrageous. Just because changing a lightbulb makes you feel good about yourself doesn’t negate the rest of your lifestyle. It also doesn’t negate the fact that 15 people in Africa live a virtually “footprintless” life while 15 factories in Asia pollute more than you could ever help to alleviate.Lake Superior State University has officially banned some of those words we are all sick of, and a few others. Apparently they publish a list every year of generally useless words. Thank God someone does.

High Rollin

Take a look at the guy who campaigned on “Taking your money and giving it to others”. When he is done with his golf game at the Mid Pacific Country Club he will retire at the $6 Million house he rented. By the way, from 2000 to 2004 the Obama’s dontated less than 1% of their total income.  obama-golf.jpg

Tax Burden

The government will never give up a source of income. New York’s new plan to add or increase 137 taxes is simply smothering. I am not even sure how you can tax iTunes sales?? At some point the people have to say that enough is enough.
