Drudgereport came under fire for reporting on Harry’s Afghan adventures. The Prince was brave enough to want to fight, and most media outlets supported a news blackout on his whereabouts. Understandably so as he could be considered a high value target.
I have to say though that Drudge did nothing wrong. At least nothing that anyone else couldn’t have done. There are millions of news outlets now. From the blog to YouTube, I am a news outlet, and so are you. Get used to it.
When an oil refinery exploded in West Texas, I found out through a third party that the EPA had sent an agent from Dallas. He was seated near the agent on the plane heading that direction. Thats news reporting, the only difference is that it didn’t get picked up by the major outlets. I still say the EPA should have a better response time.
